As of the 2008 Detroit Auto Show, California-based Fisker Automotive continues to maintain that their exotically styled plug-in hybrid will begin shipping at the end of 2009 with a starting price of $80,000. We hope so. Fisker claims the Karma will deliver 50 miles of range on electricity alone, after which a gasoline or diesel engine takes over to extend range up to 600 miles. Promising…

When the Saturn VUE Green Line 2 Mode (its full and proper name) arrives near the end of 2008, the VUE will be the first vehicle to offer a choice of two hybrid powertrains.
